Principal's Message

Dear Thomas Jefferson Elementary School Community,

I am thrilled to welcome you to a new school year at TJ! As your new principal, it is an honor to join a community where “Knowledge is Power” is not just our motto but a daily commitment we live out together.  At Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, we believe every student and family deserves to feel seen, valued, and celebrated. We will continue the important work of building an inclusive school where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. 

Our dedicated staff members have  been hard at work preparing classrooms and learning experiences that will challenge and inspire your children, nurturing their curiosity and confidence as Titans. This year, we will also continue to grow as a community rooted in the Six Pillars of Character: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship. These pillars guide us in how we treat ourselves and each other, helping our Titans grow into not only strong learners but kind, responsible leaders in their classrooms and beyond.

I am grateful for the strong, supportive parent community that makes TJ such a special place. By working together, we will continue to create a learning environment where every student feels a deep sense of belonging and knows they have a team cheering them on each day.

This year will be filled with opportunities for our students to grow, lead, and achieve. I look forward to meeting you at arrival, dismissal, and school events, and I invite you to partner with us as we continue to build a school community where Knowledge is Power for every Titan.  Let’s make this a joyful, purposeful year of learning together!
